Gratitude for my Father

Yesterday was Mother’s Day. My past 2 posts were for her. Today’s post is for my Dad. Today is his birthday – May 10th. It is hard to believe that he has been gone so long!

Although I am grateful for my Mom for many things, it is my Dad’s influence that gave me my wonderful sense of humor, my dedication to writing/typing/mindless rantings, my musical appreciation and talent, my zest for life, and so much more.

By the way… the Quote of the Day emails are sent out each morning as a tribute to him and this day… May 10th! I get the posts out at 5/10 – I mean 5:10 am.
