Wishing You a Gratitude Filled New Year

As the last day of the year, many people take advantage of this time to reflect on the past year. I am heading out to PA this afternoon to send some time with family. I think this is a great video to bring 2011 to an end.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!

Let Your Light Shine

It must be the holidays as this is the third video posted in a row! The other 2 were awesome, and this one is even better!

I was going through some videos when I ‘found’ this one. This video was created by my friend, Therese Sparby. She is an wonderful woman and I cannot say enough good things about her.

She created this video with a bunch of other friends – yours truly is even in the video!

Thanks, Therese for creating such a treasure out of  Marianne Williamson’s quote.

Be Well.

Gratitude: Cause and Effect

Here is a great video demonstrating gratitude that was shared by my Aunt Melissa. When I first watched it, it looked very familiar! It was at the end when the construction worker was handed a glass of water that I realized this was shot in Red Bank, NJ – just a couple blocks from where I used to work!

If you do something to someone, it will have an effect that you may not realize. Because of this, do something nice. The ripple effects will be more favorable than doing something that is not nice.

During the holiday season, it is easy to express your gratitude towards others. Try to keep the gratitude giving going throughout the New Year and into 2012.

Happy Holidays!

Be Well.

All The Good That I Can Do

Talk about expressing gratitude for You! This is a song by Jana Standfield titled, All I Can Do.

As you watch the video, listen to the lyrics.

20 Words That Will Change Your Day

I have been taking things slow and getting back to my old self as I heal from my surgery. I always think I can do more than I ‘can’ and probably push myself a little too much at times. Personally, I think that is the way to continual grow and improve, however, that may not necessarily be the case with recovering from surgery.

With that in mind, I am going to re-post something I read on Richard Harris’ site, Get Ready Athletics – and you should get ready becuase it applies to everything, not just athletics!

Here are 20 words that will change your day:

  • New beginnings!
  • Perspective is key!
  • Be your best!
  • Live actively!
  • Make daily deposits!
  • Minimize obstacles!
  • Optimize solutions!
  • Maximize performance!
  • Avoid excuses!
  • Do better!
  • Love conquers all!
  • Thank you!

What a great list! I have printed it out and have it posted at my desk!
