What a great quote! Many people understand what this means… You see what is happening, but since you are not fully present, you do not observe – you cannot put the pieces together, logical deduction fails. But, technically, you can describe what you saw.

Basically, this is the same with gratitude. If you just say, “Thank You” without meaning it, it is not true gratitude.
