You cannot get ahead by going backwards. This is true for just about everything that you do in your life. If there is an “not too good” experience in the past, be grateful that you can learn from it, and move ahead.

My friend, Brian Edmondson used this Wayne Gretzky quote tonight – “I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.”
