Gratitude For Humor

Being a funny and a techie type of person, humorous sketches about technical always bring me gratitude! My brother shared this video of the BBC’s own Ronnie Corbett and Harry Enfield and I loved it!

If you have ever experienced issues with your hand-held devices or computers, you will probably find this skit funny! Looking at it at a deeper level, it is actually funny how technology has changed the way we think, the associations we have, and even the names of common everyday items!  I wish I could remember the first time someone told me they had a blackberry – what did I think??

As you go through your day, are there things that bring you more gratitude that are completely different than 10 years ago? As Bob Dylan sings, “The Times They Are a-Changin'”. Are you holding on to the days of yesteryear? Or, are you grateful for these changin’ times? It can be a challenge ti keep up with all the changes. Express your gratitude for them, and move your life forward.

Be Well.
Paul.

I’m have more gratitude with each passing day, but I’m not anywhere close to reaching “perfection”. I admit, there are days that are just….bad, and I’m learning to “roll with the punches”.

@Melanie – Are you up this early? It is only 2 pm EST!

Maybe I should do a Gratitude for Humor post EVERY monday to start off the week! Hmmm…

@Stephanie – if you go searching for perfection, you may never find it! Be Grateful for that which you have now. Start slow and easy… and build it up. Remember – there are no rules. Do what comes best for you.

Great question, Paul, seeing as how I just went off to bed about 3:30 AM (my usual time to grab some zzz’s). But, lucky for me, I actually had a welcomed change in my normal Monday work schedule so I’m on the net havin’ some fun. Today I don’t have to head off to work till about four o’clock — be back home around midnight.

Ya gotta grab the gusto whenever and wherever ya can! 🙂
