30-Day Gratitude Challenge
I have written about my little challenge in the Gratitude Bursts this past week. By now, a lot of people know that I am excited to be sending out heartfelt and personal cards to random people. These people are folks that have inspired me, touched me, made me smile, or someone that I just want to let them know that they are special. Most of the recipients are not even expecting the card when they get it!
My friend Brian suggested that I take a 30-Day Gratitude Challenge. So far it is incredible! Come join me on this challenge and let’s do it together!
As I have mentioned in the past, for the next 30 days, you send a card to a person to whom you are grateful. Imagine letting 30 people know that they have made a difference in your life. Time does not matter in this case – the impact could have been recent, or it could have occurred in the past. The only rule is that you are to send out 1 card a day, to a different person, and you do this for 30 days.
Does this sound like a big effort? It’s not! When you are doing such a wonderful thing, it is easy! It does not feel like work – because, after a few days, you WANT to send out a card!
Consider this – there are people from your past that have left a lasting impression on you. Perhaps it was a spiritual leader, maybe it was a professor or teacher. Maybe you had the absolute best boss who helped guide you in your career. Was there someone in the past that helped shape you into what you are today? Now is your opportunity to express your gratitude to him or her!
Is there anyone at work – someone you see on a daily basis, but never expressed your gratitude. Why wait? Put them on your list!
The funny thing is that as I started to list some people, I think I might go out more than 30 days! There are just sooooo many people I want to express my gratitude towards!
I found a company that lets you send out physical cards easily and inexpensively. These are physically printed, using nice stock paper, that has quality printing techniques that are mailed through the US Mail. You will be able to send out high-quality greeting cards from anywhere that you have internet access. This will cost you $31 to get the best pricing – only $.62 cents per card, plus postage! That is a lot less than going to the card store and buying a pre-made generic card!
The company does all of the real work (print it, stuff it, address the card, puts a stamp on the envelope, takes it to the post office, etc.) Al you have to do is pick out a card from the collection of (seemingly) unlimited cards and type what you want to say! Heck, I have even included pictured that I took from my camera! You create the card and they will have it ready to be mailed out in the morning!
If you have been a subscriber of the Daily Gratitude Burst for any period of time, you know that I don’t pitch or sell a lot of things. Today’s post that you are reading is not intended to get you to be a customer or sell you anything. I want to share with you the feeling of awesomeness that I get when someone calls or writes and says how much the card I sent them makes them feel so good! It is an awesome feeling! Picture how you will feel just sending out 30 days to folks! What you give out will return to you 10-fold.
If you want to join me, here is what you can do to get started (there is no better time than the present!):
- Check out the video over at YourCardFactory.com
- After watching the short video, click on the “Join Now” button. I suggest that you sign up for the “Preferred Customer” Subscription for $31. Don’t worry, you won’t be locked in!
- Make sure you add a little bit of money to cover your postage costs. $15 will cover the postage costs for about 30 cards you will be sending in the challenge!
- Once you are signed up and have your account, start sending at least one card – and do another card the next day, and the next, and the next, etc.! 30 Days will fly by and you will feel great!
- I think the site is easy to use – but if you get stuck there is some pretty good help tutorials and videos under the “Help” button.
This is a great way to manage the process of sending a card a day to 30 people. If you have any questions, shoot me an email – and we can talk! I would love to hear what you think about this.
More importantly, you will start to notice goodness starting to flow towards you! Embrace it and enjoy it!
Be Well.
Paul.
