Grateful for a Beautiful Day

Today was a regular Wednesday on most parts. About a year ago or so, I completed paperwork with HR and I am fortunate to be able to work from home one day a week. I chose Wednesdays to be my work from home day.

With the beautiful weather we have been having recently, I decided to try something a little different. When I work from home, I am pretty much locked in my home office where I work diligently. I have 2 windows open to get a wonderful cross breeze and it allows me to hear the birds singing outside my window.

As it is usually the case, I had a couple conference calls where I was more of a listener, rather than a speaker. I decided to take my notebook, a pen, and my phone and go outside to sit on the patio and work from there. I grabbed a chair out from the shed, sat down, and had a couple fantastic calls!
