Your Gratitude Burst – 2010 09 10

“Learn how to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you want.”

— Jim Rohn

When you are grateful for the things you currently have, you will be much more happy than you can imagine. This is true of everything, not just physical possessions. This applies to friendship, knowledge, spiritual beliefs, material goods, and even financial rewards.  If you are always trying to obtain something new, you will inevitably loss sight of your current possessions and develop a feeling of want, emptiness, and experience a constant void.

Enjoy that which you have. You can still embark on a journey to acquire new things, new skills, new talents, new friends, and anything else you may desire. But do not lose your gratitude for your current situation as you pursue your new wants.
Just keep it all in perspective! Have a great weekend.

Be Well.

Paul.
