“Giving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.”

– Jim Rohn
(Thanks for becoming a friend of the website, Christine!)

Depending on how long you have been a subscriber, you know that I usually do not promote any products. I am not selling anything. And your subscription to receive this quote on a daily basis cost you nothing. Many people have told me I should charge a subscription fee for this service since it provides so much value to so many.

As Jim Rohn states in today’s quote, It is better to give. And that is what I like to do.

Over the weekend, I found something that I personally purchased, tried out, and received a lot of value from it. I certainly received more value than I paid for. As a result, I shared it with you all. Interesting enough, someone unsubscribed from the list because I sent out “an advertisement.”

I can understand if all I sent were emails saying “Buy This Now”, or “You Gotta Get This!” but I don’t do that.

All I like to do is give. And share. And when I find something I like, I let people know. I have written about movies I like, things I like, and even places I enjoyed visiting. I even shared the site where you can get money (that is owed to you) from the government! It is possible that I may get a commission for sharing these things with you. Bottom line – I would never recommend something that I did not either purchase myself or think highly about it. That would just be wrong (at least in my mind).
Go out and give. Give of yourself. Donate your time. Help someone. Do not expect anything in return. Simply revel in the self-satisfaction you receive.
Make it an extraordinary day doing ordinary things.
