You are invited to list something(s) that brings more gratitude to you by leaving some comments to this posting. Keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers to the age old question of, “What brings more gratitude to you?” Each person will certainly have different answers. The reason I am doing this in chunks of 10 is that I am interested in looking back (in 100 days from now) and seeing how my perspective has changed.

Well I wrote a poem of total gratitude….I have a passion for mushroom seeking, last year I went back to a place that I have been going to for the last 20 years with my dog Otter, I was so grateful just to be in this unspoilt part of France surrounded by fields and woods. I said to myself thank you god…..I had to run back to my car to get a pen a paper and this was the result of my gratitude.
The Mushroom Seekers
Come Otter be not so meek
Come with me and we shall seek
On this golden October day
We Shall find them across the way
The Chestnut woods are denser here
The sun shines through not so clear
The leaves have turned a golden brown
Oh what a delight to be around
We pass a cottage made of stone
How nice to know were not alone
The
hedgerows scratch as we pass through
Oh if only the Farmer knew
He would rage stamp and shout
And be sure to throw us out
Oh what fun he is not here
But then again he might not care
The distance trees and lovely lake
What a picture that would take
Thank you God for another year
For not to mushroom seek
I couldn’t Bear.
Just being alive,in this wonderful world. They can’t take that away from me….It’s always there.
