Pay it Forward
Back in 2000, a movie came out titled, Pay It Forward. The premise of the movie is that a young boy, Trevor (Haley Joel Osment), tries to make the better place because of an assignment that was given to him by his school teacher (Kevin Spacey). The assignment: think of something to change the world and put it into action. Trevor conjures the notion of paying a favor not back, but forward–repaying good deeds not with payback, but with new good deeds done to three new people.
Think about something that you can do for someone today. Are there 3 things that you can do for people that you either know or even better, do not know that will somehow lift them up and make their day better? Think what would happen if everyone did something good for someone else FIRST. No need to wait for a reason to thank someone, or help them out. Do it, ‘Just Because’.
Let me know how this turns out for you!
Be Well.
