Your Gratitude Burst – 2010 10 03

“Don’t find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.”

– Henry Ford

Thanks for the quote, Sharon!

As you may know, I was on the road over over a week last week. While I was out, I was recently around someone who just complained, complained, and complained! Thankfully, I did not have to stick around and listen for very long.

It got me thinking… How often do I complain? How long do I complain? And then more importantly, Why do I complain?

An interesting observation is that people do not complain about things that they cannot change. Read that again. People do not complain about things that they cannot change. When was the last time you heard someone complaining about gravity? “Darn! I am so mad at gravity for causing me to drop my plate on the ground!” – nope it just does not happen!

Rather than complain, do something. Do something to change the circumstances, or do something to remedy the situation. No one really likes to be around a complainer.

Make the change! Let me know what you think – leave a comment over on the blog:
