Your Gratitude Burst – 2010 10 06
“One day at a time – this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone: and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.”
– Ida Scott Taylor
Thanks for the quote, Karen! And thanks to Daphne for being the newest Google Friend over at the website! You both are amazing! Thanks!
How many projects are you involved in right now? What is on your To-Do list? I just checked my official list and I currently have 55 items on my To-Do list! And I am sure it will continue to grow, just like your list!
With so many things that need my attention, I could easily be a scattered-brain and accomplish nothing. I could worry about all the things that I did not do yesterday; I could wallow in the ‘might have beens.’ I could obsess over what I need to get done tomorrow; I could get caught up in the anxiousness of what might h
appen in the future.
In fact, I try to avoid those at all costs. When I have to do something, it goes on my list; I capture it and I know I have it written down. Any task will not get lost or forgotten. By doing so, I can focus on the present. I can concentrate on what is important right now. I ca be ‘In the Zone’ when I want. Where I want. And How I want.
Being able to do that is one of the most gratifying feelings I know. Care to know whats next on the list of gratifying feelings? Checking off an item when it is complete!
May your day be full of checks!
