Your Gratitude Burst – 2010 12 07

“Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they’ve got a second.”

– William James

Today’s quote was shared by Bo U. – Thanks, Bo!

It is easy to give up. It is easy to say, “The world is a terrible place and I have nothing.” At that point all you have to do is throw your hands up in the air (for dramatic effect) and you are done. This is like giving up on your first wind.

When you try to look for the goodness in your life, it may seem hard. You may truly be in a difficult spot in your life. At these points, you may have to search out for something that you can be grateful for. Once you find it, look for something else that is probably related to that. And then the next. And then the next. And so on. And so on.

If you have difficulty doing this, let me know! If enough people want some help, perhaps we can work together to find some goodness for you!

Be Well.
