Your Gratitude Burst – 2011 02 10

“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.”

– Mahatma Gandhi

Oh boy! I blew it! In the pursuit of learning and trying to improve things, I messed up big time!

I was working on making the All About Gratitude website better. It was nothing that anyone would have seen – it was all behind the scenes ‘stuff.’ But it was going to be good. And then, BAM! All kinds of things broke. Depending on when you read this, the site might still be a wreck. At this moment, I have no idea how to correct it! Not a problem, however, because I can do it!

It is not that I am incapable of doing it, of fixing it. I just do not know how to fix it yet! I will find a way. It will happen/ I know that I will be able to have it corrected. By tomorrow the site will be up and running.

As another example, I had a trip to Africa planned. I was looking forward to seeing the elephants (one of my favorite animals)! However, the trip was canceled, but I KNOW that I will be going at another time. I don’t know when, or with what group, but I know that I will be traveling to Africa within the next few years.

Is there something that you cannot do right now, but you know that you will be able to do it in the future? Work towards it and you will see the results sooner than later!

Be Well.
Paul.
