“We must use time creatively.”

– Martin Luther King, Jr.

Thanks for sharing this quote, Wendy!

There are all sorts of time management systems in place. Can we truly manage time? No matter what we do, time moves forward.

I think that one of the best alternatives is to manage yourself! I do a lot of things in a day. I keep a list, I manage a schedule. One thing I really try to do is to stay in the present. I try to concentrate on what I am doing in the moment. I am grateful for whatever it is I am doing. (Notice I said, try. I am always working on this!)

The thing I DON’T do, is think about what is coming up next. Where will be I later? Where will I be going? These thoughts will only cause me to lose clarity of my current situation. When I think about these future items, I am no longer in the present. I am elsewhere in my thoughts and it detracts from the time I allocated for whatever it is I am supposed to be doing now.

Track what needs to be done, and be grateful and conscious of ‘The Now’.

If you need help with that, check out my friend, Joe’s website. He recently started a new website, http://PersonalProductivitySecrets.com/ – it is packed with great ideas on, well, Personal Productivity!

Be Well.
