Where do you fit in on your Gratitude Scale? On a Scale of 1-10, how how much gratitude would you say you have? Life is full of choices; make a decision and move ahead with it. You can be grateful for someone or something, or you can be miserable about it.
As an extreme example, when someone passes away, you can wallow in your sadness that you will never see the person again. You can complain that it is not fair. You can get angry that the world is against you. These are all valid feelings.
Or… you can think about all the great times you had with that person. You can reminisce about the things you did together, or the places you visited together! You can smile knowing that you brought some joy into that persons life. These are all valid feelings as well!
