After reading this, you make think, “He is off his rocker now… TMI – Too Much Information!” But, I think about writing this post almost every day. Today is the day I break down and actually write it!
One of the things for which I am most grateful is… my shoe trees! (say what?!?) Yup! Every day when I go home and take off my shoes, I slip in my shoe trees into my shoes to help keep them maintain their shape. They are made of cedar wood so they help absorb the moisture and help them smelling nice. I absolutely love them! I have no idea why, but I do.
The last time I went and purchased shoes, the salesperson sold me 2 pairs. Actually, I think I asked for a pair, but it was a ‘deal’ – buy one pair, get the second pair half off. I got the line about the moisture being whisked away, save the life of my shoes, etc. All I really heard was, “Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.”
So, I bought them.
I am so grateful for having them because my shoes HAVE lasted longer. I don’t know what else to say! They are great!
Obviously, this is truly a case of showing gratitude for the “little things”. When I change my shoes, I smile from ear to ear!
