Here’s To The Crazy Ones

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

“Think Different” is an advertising slogan created for Apple Computer in 1997. It was used in a famous television commercial, several print advertisements, and several television advertisements for Apple products.

As many of this Blog’s Readers know, I am a huge Apple fan! This is just another example of how Apple stands out from the crowd. I am certainly grateful for Apple and how they have revolutionized not only computers, but consumer electronics as well.

Be Well.

What a great inspiration to us all. Truly, truly a great man. May his legacy of undying faith in himself and of others inspire us to be a little “crazy”.

I so admire Steve Jobs and all he did. Even though, I’m REALLY late to the party…just got my first iPod. But I must say, I’m nearly addicted to it. So sorry his life was cut short.

I particularly like his posthumous confession that of the 2 or 3 most significant things in his life, was the experience of ‘chemically induced theophany’–revelations creativity & selfdiscovery via entheogens/hallucinogens.
